Turn a 3D file into a picture you can actually publish

Every marketplace listing, spec sheet, wiki page and pull-request screenshot eventually needs the same thing: a clean, correctly-lit still image of a 3D model. The usual route is to install Blender, learn its camera, build a three-point light rig and fight the render settings. This tool gives you the finished image in about thirty seconds, in your browser, with nothing uploaded anywhere.

Drop in a GLB, GLTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, FBX, DAE, 3MF, USDZ, 3DS, AMF or VRML file. It loads, it lights itself, it frames itself, and then you decide what the picture should look like.

A camera you can write down

Orbiting with the mouse is great for exploring and terrible for consistency. This renderer exposes the camera as three numbers:

  • Azimuth — where you stand around the model, from -180° to 180°
  • Elevation — how high you stand, from -89° to 89°
  • Distance — a multiplier of the automatic fit distance, so 1.00× frames a bolt and a bulldozer identically

Write those three numbers down and every model in your catalogue can be shot from exactly the same angle. Preset views — isometric, front, back, left, right, top, bottom — set all three for you, and dragging in the viewport updates the sliders instead of fighting them.

Backdrops, including real transparency

  • Studio gradient — a soft vertical ramp between two colours you pick, the classic product-shot look
  • Solid colour — for slides, brand backgrounds and dark-mode documentation
  • Transparent — a genuine alpha channel in the PNG, ready to composite over anything

JPG has no alpha, so choosing it automatically switches the backdrop to a solid colour rather than silently baking in black.

Resolution up to 4K

Presets cover 720p, 1080p, 1440p, 2160p and square 1024, 2048 and 4096 formats, or you can type any width and height up to 4096 px. The image is rendered off-screen at the size you asked for, not scaled up from the viewport, so a 4K render really is 4K.

Lighting and shading

One slider scales the whole light rig from 0.1× to 3×, keeping the environment reflections in step. Shading modes let you render as authored, as flat clay — ideal for untextured STL prints — as a matcap, or as raw surface normals when you are documenting a mesh problem rather than selling a product.

Privacy

The file is parsed and rendered on your machine, by your GPU. There is no upload, no queue and no account.
